It's hard to describe how exciting the partnership with Peter Arkle has been for us. To see an internationally renowned illustrator and an overall great guy capture the essence of anCnoc so well has been inspiring, humbling and touching. Today we are proud to announce that the remARKabLE (pardon the pun but we couldn't resist!) partnership between the artist and the whisky continues in this new anCnoc Peter Arkle Limited Edition 'Bricks', which is the third global release of the series and the fifth in the series so far.
A word or two about the whisky itself. We have decided to make this a classic anCnoc with lots of the signature honey sweetness and lemon zing anCnoc fans know so well and just a touch of the Dark Side, the dried fruit and spices. The cask composition therefore consisted of mostly top quality ex-bourbon casks and some ex-sherry butts too. We've bottled the whisky at 46% and left it non chill-filtered and at its natural colour. There is no age statement on the bottle but it's a delicious combination of a few vintages.
anCnoc Peter Arkle 'Bricks' will be available soon, primarily in the UK, USA, Germany, Russia, Japan, Taiwan and Canada. So keep your eyes peeled for the distinctive brick-clad tube. Let us know what you think about the design and, of course, the liquid once you've tried it. Needless to say this is a limited offering (by that we mean - really limited, only 1000 cases world-wide) and once it's gone, it's gone forever.
